Shipwreck
The vessel which was wrecked a fortnight since, on the “Long Sand”, appears to have been the “Inga” of Kragero, Norway.
The name board from the stern of the Barque was picked up by Mr Henry James Dunkin Emptage of the “MaryAnn” cutter.
Nothing has been heard of the crew.
Note:
Henry James Dunkin Emptage 1835 – 1897. Son of Henry Robert Emptage and Elizabeth Dunkin, husband of Jemima Nicholson.
